Yet Analytics has significant expertise in xAPI.
The Learning Record Store (LRS) validates and stores xAPI data. Because it is so critical to an investment in a modern learning ecosystem, ADL provides a Test Suite to ensure compliance with over 1,300 technical requirements. Yet Analytics was the first commercial organization to successful pass the ADL Test Suite. We've gone on to offer LRSs in a number of different deployment options. For 2020, we are offering a new edition of the Yet LRS exclusively built on AWS. Just drop it into your own AWS stack and it's ready to go.
Our founder is chair of the IEEE Learning Technology Standards Committee's Technical Advisory Group on xAPI and was managing editor of its first technical report on xAPI implementation.
We contributed to the original xAPI specification and are members of the IEEE P9274.1 Working Group that is currently formally standardizing xAPI. Our founder is the chair of IEEE P9274.4.1 for xAPI Implementation and IEEE P9274.4.2 for xAPI Cybersecurity.
We provided the first demonstration of xAPI implemented in cross-platform immersive learning involving the use of concurrent streams of xAPI data via digital simulation and wearable technology at I/ITSEC 2014. Then we provided the code to run the xAPI IoT demonstration at the 2015 Global City Teams Challenge hosted by NIST and US Ignite.
