Data-Driven L&D Starts with Data Strategy

When designing your learning ecosystem, there are so many factors to weigh, from learner experience, to ease of use, to UI design, and so on. Something L&D leaders should also consider is the data coming from these platforms. Developing an overall data strategy is critically important to answer the ever elusive question “What is the ROI of my training initiatives?”

Within organizations that have made data-driven decision making a priority, L&D is ready to have a seat at the table and present their data with the same high-quality insights that sales, marketing and other departments have come to take for granted.

To help organizations get started, we brought together the four key elements of data strategy design in this Data Strategy Worksheet for DevLearn attendees to help them both shape the conversations they had with vendors, as well as provide a framework for evaluation when they got home. We had so many people reach out and ask for it that we decided to share it here as well!
