Here is a recap of all the great product enhancements we pushed in November 2018, including new data cards, new graph options and ongoing UX and performance upgrades:

New Hotspots Data Card

We’ve added the new Hotspots Data Card to the standard Data Card Library. With the Hotspots Data Card you can see when your learners are engaged with learning across day of week and time of day axes. A circle on the chart indicates that some learning activity was recorded at that intersection of day and time; the size of the circle indicates how much learning activity was recorded.

You can add the Hotspots Data Card on your dashboard by clicking on the Add New Data Card button, then choosing Hotspots from the dropdown list found under Card Properties → Type. Like all of our data cards you can apply custom filters to the Hotspots Data Card to create your own data story.

New Graph Options for Leaderboard Data Card

We’ve added in some new graph options for you in the Leaderboard Data Card. Previously the Leaderboard Data Card allowed you to choose Bar Chart, Column Chart, Pie Chart or Donut Chart graph types. With our latest update, you can also choose a Polar Chart from the list. To use this new option, choose Polar Chart from the dropdown list found under Edit → Card Properties → Graph.

New Graph Options for Timeline Data Card

We’ve also added in some new graph options for you in the Timeline Data Card. With our latest update, you can choose either an Area Line Chart or Area Curve Chart from the list. To use this new option, choose your preferred view from the dropdown list found under Edit → Card Properties → Graph. Note that Area Curve Chart is the default view for the Timeline Data Cards.

UX and Performance Updates

Our team is always making improvements to the usability of the Yet interface. This month’s enhancements include updates such as data card loading icons, descriptive error messages, unified timestamps, and reduced load and search times.
