Yet Analytics Unveils First-to-Market Data Dashboard for Blended Learning
BALTIMORE, MD — Working with Khan Lab School, Yet Analytics has released a first-in-category data logistics dashboard for blended learning programs. Yet’s new data dashboards integrate data from blended learning tools and make it easy for students, teachers, parents, and administrators to see learner progress across multiple tools at a glance.
Used daily at Khan Lab School, the new technology helps teachers hold students accountable and motivates students to achieve their individual goals.
“As more and more schools switch to a blended model and start using a whole suite of tools, everyone is going to need and want this,” said Orly Friedman, Head of the Lower School at Khan Lab School.
Khan Lab School (KLS) is an independent school associated with Khan Academy in Mountain View, CA. In keeping with Sal Khan’s One World Schoolhouse philosophy, KLS provides a personalized, mixed-age program with a project-based learning approach.
In addition to Khan Academy, KLS employs edtech applications such as Clever, Quill, and Lexia. This technology lets students work independently according to their own personalized learning plans. Yet’s cloud-based dashboard application connects data from across the school’s learning ecosystem and provides a unified view of student progress.
“It allows students to make connections between the time they spend and the results they see,” said KLS teacher Heather Stinnett. “Instead of talking about the tools one by one, we can see them on the same graph, which is really powerful.”
Leveraging open-source xAPI data interoperability technology and advances in enterprise data logistics, Yet Analytics and KLS have demonstrated the first-to-market model for software supporting the measurement and visualization of mastery-based blended learning.
