GDPR

The EU GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is a piece of legislation that is designed to strengthen and unify data protection laws for all individuals within the European Union.

Yet Analytics HAS COMPLIED with applicable GDPR regulations as a data processor since they took effect on 25th May 2018.

You can review our Privacy Policy here. If you have any questions regarding Yet Analytics’ privacy policy, please contact us at team@yetanalytics.com.

If you are a citizen of the European Union (EU), you have the following rights under the GDPR (This is not a comprehensive list; please review the following link for a complete list of your rights: https://gdpr-info.eu/chapter-3/):

If you are directly engaged with Yet Analytics products or services (e.g., you have registered for a Yet account or receive marketing materials from Yet):

  • Consent:

    • You must provide consent in order for Yet Analytics to store and process your personal data.  You do so by clicking the Accept or Decline button on the Consent Tracking banner on our page. You can withdraw consent at any time by visiting the following site: consent.yetanalytics.io.  Please note that should you choose to withdraw consent, you may not be able to utilize our products, which rely on cookies.

  • Breach Notification:

    • Data breach notification is mandatory in all GDPR member states where a data breach is likely to “result in a risk for the rights and freedoms of individuals”. This must be done within 72 hours of Yet first having become aware of the breach. In the event of a data breach, Yet Analytics will notify our direct customers via email.

  • Right to Access:

    • You have the right to obtain from us confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, where and for what purpose. Further, upon your request, we will provide a copy of your personal data, free of charge, in an electronic format. To request a copy of your personal data, please email us at team@yetanalytics.com and be sure to include the details of your request.

  • Right to be Forgotten:

    • Also known as Data Erasure, the right to be forgotten entitles you to have Yet erase your personal data, cease further dissemination of the data, and potentially have third parties halt processing of the data. To request data erasure, please email us at team@yetanalytics.com and be sure to include the details of your request.

    • It should also be noted that this right requires Yet to compare the subjects' rights to "the public interest in the availability of the data" when considering such requests.

  • Data Portability

    • You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, in a 'commonly used and machine readable format', and you have the right to transmit that data to another controller. To request your personal data in a portable format, please email us at team@yetanalytics.com and be sure to include the details of your request.

  • Right to Rectification

    • You have the right to obtain from Yet Analytics without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. To request rectification to your personal data, please email us at team@yetanalytics.com and be sure to include the details of your request.

If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of a data controller (e.g., your employer):

  • Consent:

    • You must provide explicit consent for the data controller to store and process your personal data.  You can withdraw consent at any time. If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of one of our enterprise customers (the data controller), your consent will be managed by the data controller.

  • Breach Notification:

    • Yet Analytics is required to notify our enterprise customers (the data controllers) “without undue delay” after first becoming aware of a data breach. In the event of a data breach, Yet Analytics will notify data controllers via email.

  • Right to Access:

    • You have the right to obtain from the data controller, such as your employer, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you is being processed, where and for what purpose. Further, upon your request, the data controller must provide a copy of your personal data, free of charge, in an electronic format. If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of one of our enterprise customers (the data controller), such as your employer, you must submit your request through the data controller.

  • Right to be Forgotten:

    • Also known as Data Erasure, the right to be forgotten entitles you to have the data controller, such as your employer, erase your personal data, cease further dissemination of the data, and potentially have third parties halt processing of the data. If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of one of our enterprise customers (the data controller), such as your employer, you must submit your request through the data controller. It should also be noted that this right requires controllers to compare the subjects' rights to "the public interest in the availability of the data" when considering such requests.

  • Data Portability

    • You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, in a 'commonly used and machine readable format', and you have the right to transmit that data to another controller. If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of one of our enterprise customers (the data controller), such as your employer, you must submit your request through the data controller.

  • Right to Rectification

    • You have the right to obtain from the data controller, such as your employer, without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you. If Yet Analytics is processing your data on behalf of one of our enterprise customers (the data controller), such as your employer, you must submit your request through the data controller.

  • For our enterprise customers (where Yet is the Data Processor and our customer is the Data Controller):

    • Yet Analytics will comply with applicable GDPR regulations as a data processor when they take effect on 25th May 2018.

    • Please contact us at team@yetanalytics.com for more information on our Data Processing Addendum.
